This posting of memes comes with a side helping of wisdom from James Lindsay. This bullet point presentation he made really speaks to me because I have first-hand experienced this. I have been called divisive by a radical narcissist. I just left the group. Although I would rejoin if anyone welcomed me. So she won. Nevertheless, I still called her out, before I even knew that was what you are supposed to do. Enjoy. When you hear the word Unity, beware.
Quote by James Lindsay1
Mao Zedong wanted to thought-reform, that is, brainwash, the whole Chinese population, and he had a formula for doing it: “Unity – Criticism – Unity.” That is, he sought to induce in people a “desire for unity” so they would join his socialistic cult, and then once that desire was strong enough, criticism and struggle sessions would begin to cement adherence.2
It has all happened before. It is normal for people to disagree with each other. Actual adults know this.

This is a tactic that is used by narcissistic and Psychopathic abusers to turn the tables back on the person calling them out, and it's extremely common in abusive relationships, it's extremely common in abusive relationships with your government or with your media and so I call this out a lot.
A specific kind of DARVO that appears within woke infiltration and this happens both on the left and on the so-called right, the fakeright, the woke right, if you want the right hand of the left.
I'm going to call it the divisive DARVO, it's more common to see that at the beginning of a campaign or of a radical Splinter movement than it is to see it in a fully matured one and so we don't see it as often from the left.
You will also see this divisive DARVO technique cropping up in anything where there's supposed to be some kind of cohesion, amongst a group of people.
It is in fact being divisive and then calling out people who point out the divisive tactics and accusing them of being divisive in return so that's how this DARVO works.
The way this works is that some radical group infiltrates, they introduce a radical policy not everybody's going to agree with, that is already is divisive. The second you say
"hey wait a minute, what's going on?"
They turn around and point at you and say you're being divisive you are causing division because now you're the one preventing the unity, where there was previously unity, and going along with their radical idea, that people hadn't realized maybe was a bad one. And now somebody has spoken up, so the person who spoke up is the divider, rather than the person who put forth the intolerant policy in the first place.
The only thing you can do is expose it to as many people as possible by pointing it out.
The division began when the divisive policy itself was introduced, or when the Splinter Group was added in as fellow Travelers and started trying to radicalize the group off in a New Direction the division already occurred.
When somebody speaks up, and says no we're not going to accommodate this, or tolerate this intolerable New Direction, they can turn around and accuse that person of being the divisive one, and try to get them pushed out.
The only thing you can do about this is try to call it out, and point it out, and explain how it works to people, so that it's not as mystifying, and then it's up to them, they're going to have to decide, and they should be able to decide honestly which path they want to follow, do they want to go with the radicals on their Splinter, or do they want to stay the true course.
But they should be able to make that choice, actually informed as to what's going on.
The division was caused by the introduction of the radical policy it was not caused by the person who called it out.
One thing that resonates with me about this piece is that any group membership automatically sets up a divisive situation, one is either with "them" or against "them". The BIG problem with this is that is creates a stalemate. The more one side pushes the more the other side pushes back. I pray for a time when humanity rises above the partisan to carefully view the whole, then consider all perspectives carefully before making a decision, not for everyone but for themselves alone. It is possible to live in harmony with those who make different choices for themselves, but at the moment it seems that it is a dream.
Although, the Chinese Communist Party is in power in China, the people of China have found ways around their dictatorship. We should learn from them. The governments are not all powerful and we can, in many cases ignore them.
