Trigger warning: Some people may not enjoy this post. I hope you will find something you enjoy, I hope you’re not expecting anything to make you super happy and fulfilled here. Some people enjoy these posts, not everyone does!

Far Side of Fringe is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

First for those of you who do not know what Grok is here is a screen shot:

I asked Grok to make this post for me…

Hey X Users, let's talk about integrity and relevance! Freedom of speech is a cornerstone of our platform, but it comes with a responsibility to respect context. If an account is all about adult content, it shouldn't automatically sprinkle likes on posts discussing everything from cooking recipes to quantum physics. Why? Because: Respect the Conversation: Every post deserves engagement that's relevant to its content, not just random likes from unrelated accounts. Preserve Authenticity: Likes should reflect genuine interest, not just algorithmic noise. This keeps our community authentic and engaging. Encourage Relevant Interaction: We want to foster a space where interactions are meaningful, where your cooking post gets love from foodies, not just from those looking for something entirely different. Let's champion a platform where freedom of speech also means freedom from irrelevant auto-likes. Keep the conversation focused and inspired!

I have been working with Grok lately. Here is a snippet of a post that Grok made for me, I did a little bit of editing to it:

So, let's call for a return to transparency! Bring back the public likes, because it is part of free speech. My like is no secret, it is an expression. I want everyone to know what I like. And since accounts that promote adult entertainment like my content every day, I want to be able to use their great taste to help me find the best content on X!

Here’s Mark Zuckerberg. He collects data too!

Recently, someone provided some “constructive criticism” in the comments of one of my Memes posts. I would like to respond to that here. Some posts may seem to be irrelevant and not at all contrarian. I never made any promises. If this is not contrarian enough for you, I am so sorry to disappoint you. I think you can easily find something more contrarian, Never GIVE UP! Stay Positive!
