Unless you are on your deathbed and seriously ill, you will not be able to see a doctor. This is Canada.
I have a minor health issue. I generally do not go to see a doctor anyway, as I am generally healthy, and especially since COVID, I have absolutely no desire to have anything to do with the healthcare system; however, I am paying for this. What am I paying for? I have a minor health issue that I would like a diagnosis for. Of course, I want to think it is minor, but it seems it would be best to make sure that I am right about that.
Where I live now in Nova Scotia, I am not likely to ever have a family doctor because I have no health issues. I don’t have high blood pressure, diabetes, or any other health issues, so I am not a priority, and I am unlikely to ever be able to get a family doctor. I have put myself on the list to get one, but I know that I will likely never get one unless I get sick. Of course, I am not going to do that just to get a doctor.
I do have this minor issue that I would like someone to look at. But here in Nova Scotia, if I want that to happen, I will need to call every morning at around 8:30 AM to the local clinic and wait……
…….. Even if I call exactly at 8:30 AM on the dot, I will be waiting on hold for 20 minutes to speak with someone. I have done this for two days so far, and each time I am told that they have a pharmacist; however, a pharmacist is not qualified to make a diagnosis for my minor issue.
I am paying taxes like crazy here in Canada, and what do I get for it?
No healthcare unless I am almost dead, in which case they will try to kill me.
Censored online because only the government knows the truth.
The expectation that none of this will resolve, as I continually see people online telling others not to vote because it won’t make a difference because they are all WEF or whatever.
So, if you are one of those people who say “wow, look at Canada, they have universal healthcare, that is so advanced,” I just wanted to let you know that it is nothing special. I really don’t care for it anymore and would be fine with getting rid of it now. Sure, it would be good to have universal healthcare for life-threatening situations, which is what we actually have, even though in many cases, they will just kill you anyway, so what good is that?
That is insane. I'm sympathetic about your situation. 🥺 I can't believe that there are people in the United States that look at Canada and think Canada has a great system. The American people have no clue how bad things are outside the United States. And even worse, many Americans want to change the United States to be more like Canada. Insanity!! 🤯
That's the neglect of duty of our present political elite. They're more concerned about mucking around with one's sexual identity than the general health of the individual.
