OPEN LETTER
Dear Premier Iain Rankin,
I am writing this letter in regards to what I consider to be an incursion of my civil rights. I have heard that my civil rights need to be removed because of a deadly pandemic. In this last week we have seen very few new infections, despite testing “asymptomatic” and symptomatic people. Yet we continue to have measures that promote the idea that there is a deadly pandemic; under the guise that our restrictions will be lifted after a certain proportion of the population has submitted to receiving a medical procedure.
Dr. Strang in an announcement on May 31st 2021, was asked why these strict measures were still needed with the very low cases at that time, his answer was “The other purpose of the injunction is to prevent groups that are spreading false information. The information creates risks.” I have noticed that the information that is considered to be safe and should be trusted is very much in line with certain political interests that appear to want to maintain a perpetual need for lockdowns, testing, wearing masks, and tracking and tracing. I perceive that there is coercion of people to take medical procedures, through the use of perpetual lockdowns and the possible threat of having passports to prove that one has had said medical procedures.
It appears that this pandemic is on pause at the very least and therefore I do not agree that my rights should at this time be suspended. Particularly as it appears that the goal is to suspend my civil rights indefinitely.
I wish to return to the Canada that I used to live in before it became what appears to be a looming threat of dictatorship, endless censorship, and being locked inside my home.
Sincerely
Renee
They forgot the first step for forming a dictatorship. You should have a charismatic leader who doesn’t say stupid things first !
