Dear Reader,
I just wanted to get in touch with you directly because I've discovered that soon after sending out a post that was a collaboration with the Substack
, titled "Freedom Incorporated," my Substack was hacked. I don't believe I can pin the blame on Substack specifically, as this could be the work of any number of bad actors. I believe I may have been hacked, and I don't want this to become too long for you. But I just wanted to send this email directly to you so that I can observe whether or not the email gets delivered. Two hundred of my subscribers, who previously opened emails from me, are no longer receiving emails. If I send this email out to all 883 of my subscribers, one at a time, I will be able to track who is receiving emails from the Far Side of Fringe and who is not. For those who are not, I will be changing the way I deliver my newsletter because I don't believe that Substack is going to fix this. I'm not really earning anything substantial or making any profits for them, with only 2 paid subscribers, so it's really not in their interest to fix this issue for me.
I did reach out to the chatbot that they have at Substack, and they/them told me that it would be fixed. But when I asked them to answer a couple of questions like when or who was going to fix it, they would not provide any details. That was not reassuring. From my research, I've seen that many people have issues with Substack, and I don't want to put all the blame on them because it's a very competitive business. I still appreciate that they've allowed me to say what I say here.
The internet is heavily censored these days. I’d love to discuss this further, but this email is already getting long. Most of you are free subscribers, and I don’t often ask for money. Instead, I’d like to ask you to confirm that you received this email. Unfortunately, you can’t reply directly to this email because I cannot receive responses through my newsletter—even that feature has been compromised. Please visit this link and leave a comment to let me know you received this email. I’d greatly appreciate it.
Thank you, and I hope to be in contact with you further, perhaps from a different email address at some point. If this didn't reach you, I will note that and will make sure my files are secure. Have a great day.
Sincerely,
Renee Green

Test from the original email link Can you see me?
Received but I will also DM you in case you don't get this message.
I find SS increasingly "fragile" and unreliable.
There are also facilities missing (like a search facility on your own posts) which would be incredibly useful.
